MSI launches two mesmerising AIO coolers with a great price

MSI loves its infinity mirrors.

MSI MAG CoreLiquid I360 AIO

MSI has launched its MAG CoreLiquid I coolers with RGB fans and pump housing. The series will be available in black or white and in two sizes to support different chassis formats.

Dubbed MAG CoreLiquid I360 and CoreLiquid I240, these AIO (All In One) CPU coolers as their name implies measure 360mm and 240mm, respectively. This means you have a choice depending on your chassis dimensions and CPU cooling needs. That said if your budget and chassis allow, the 360mm version is the way to go thanks to its higher cooling potential.

The CoreLiquid I series radiators are made from 27mm thick aluminium, which is a reasonable size, at least compared to Hyte’s gigantic Q80 Trio. Both models come equipped with two or three 120mm RGB fans rated for 70.7cfm of airflow. No fancy magnetic chaining here, unfortunately, but you still get the good old 3-pin ARGB control cable separate from the fan power. Thankfully, these cables come tucked under a pre-installed cover to improve aesthetics.

Talking of which, the pump housing features an infinity mirror, adding some style points to the MSI Mystic Light compatible RGB lighting. Underneath we find a 3,400rpm PWM pump alongside a copper cold plate contacting the CPU. MSI claims 20dBA of noise on average.

Compatibility-wise, we have support for AMD’s AM4 and AM5, plus Intel’s LGA 1150, 1151, 1155, 1156, 1200, and 1700 sockets. The brand also notes support for Intel’s next-gen platform, i.e. LGA 1851. In other words, these AIOs are good for pretty much any platform. Furthermore, both AMD and Intel brackets are integrated into the pump block making installation a breeze.

The MAG CoreLiquid I360 is expected to hit store shelves at $98, with the CoreLiquid I240 pricing yet to be unveiled. While this isn’t the cheapest AIO on the market – that spot is held by the value king Thermalright – it is still on the affordable side. As long as reliability is on the rendezvous it’s a good choice if you need one.
