G.Skill has announced the world’s first 128GB (2x64GB) RAM kit that provides ample capacity in a dual-channel configuration without trading speed. Boasting an impressive 8,000MT/s speed, these modules set a new bar and will undoubtedly prove popular among workstation users.
The RAM in question is G.Skill Trident Z5 Royal Neo DDR5, which the brand currently offers in kits with capacities up to 96GB (2x48GB) but their speeds top out at 6000MT/s. You can grab 8,000MT/s sticks but you’ll need to settle for a 48GB (2x24GB) buffer. With this in mind, thi achievement of offering 128GB (2x64GB) at 8,000MT/s becomes all the more impressive.

Though not as tight as low-capacity alternatives, the timings of these new modules remain acceptable for what they offer.
