Following last year’s ROG x Gundam collection, Asus has revealed its new complete ROG x Evangelion collection, featuring PC hardware, accessories, and even clothing.
This new collab is based around the Eva-01 Test Type piloted in Neon Genesis Evangelion anime by Shinji Akari. Cutting to the chase, here is a quick rundown of everything in this new ASUS ROG collab:
ROG Strix Helios EVA Edition
A mid-tower chassis featuring a tempered glass side panel and supporting up to E-ATX motherboards, plus up to a 420mm radiator in the front and 360mm in the rear. I/O is made of two audio jacks, four USB 3.1 Gen 1 and one USB 3.1 Gen2 Type C.
ROG Maximus Z690 Hero EVA Edition
A Z690 based ATX motherboard supporting up to 128GB of DDR5-6400 memory and two PCIe 5.0 x16 slots (running at x8 when using both), five M.2 slots and six SATA 6Gb/s ports. I/O is made of one HDMI port, two Thunderbolt 4 with DP alt mode, seven USB 3.2 Gen 2 (one is Type-C), two USB 2.0, five 3.5mm audio jacks plus optical audio, 2.5Gb/s Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2.
ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3090 EVA Edition
Basically an ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3090 24GB GDDR6X OC painted in Eva-01’s colours. The card measures 318.5mm x 140.1mm x 57.78mm and clocks at 1,860MHz in gaming mode. A little too high-end for your liking? A GeForce RTX 3080 variant will also be made available.
ROG Thor 1000W Platinum II EVA Edition
Next up is a 1,000W 80 Plus Platinum PSU measuring 190mm x 150mm x 86mm and possessing one 24-pin cable, two CPU 4+4-pin, eight PCIe 6+2-pin, twelve SATA and six Molex.
ROG Ryujin II 360 ARGB EVA Edition
Yep, there’s cooling, too, in the form of a Ryujin II makeover. The 360mm all-in-one liquid cooling system uses an aluminium radiator alongside Asetek’s 7th Gen pump. Compatible with Intel LGA 1700, 1200, 115x, 2011, 2011-3, 2066, and AMD AM4, TR4 sockets.
ROG Strix XG27AQM EVA Edition
Leaving no stone left unturned, this 27in IPS monitor features a 2560×1440 resolution alongside a 270Hz refresh rate, 400cd/m² brightness, 1000:1 contrast and 1ms (MPRT) response time.
ROG Keris Wireless EVA Edition
A 79g wireless gaming mouse employing a PAW3335 sensor capable of 16,000DPI resolution, 400IPS max speed and 1,000Hz polling rate. The mouse connects via either Bluetooth 5.1, RF 2.4Ghz or USB. Its 500mAh battery provides cordless gaming for up to 78 hours with lighting off.
ROG Strix Scope RX EVA Edition
A full-size mechanical keyboard available with ROG RX Red or Blue Optical Mechanical Switches and connecting through USB at 1,000Hz polling rate.
ROG Delta S EVA Edition
A wired USB headset weighing 300g without a mic, capable of outputting virtual 7.1 audio through 50mm drivers.
ROG Rapture GT-AX6000 EVA Edition
A router powered by a 2.0 GHz quad-core processor and 1GB of RAM, featuring two 2.5Gb/s plus four 1Gb/s RJ45 ports, USB 3.2 Gen 1×1, USB 2.0, not to forget Wi-Fi 6 Dual-Band with support for AiMesh, MU-MIMO and more.
There’s no EVA Edition microwave nor dishwasher as far as we could tell, though you can get a stylised mousepad, an M.2 SSD enclosure, or even clothing if the heart desires.
