Sharkoon presents its latest ATX PC case featuring a tempered glass side panel and pre-installed aRGB fans at a reasonable price.
The TK5M RGB measures 411mm (L) x 200mm (W) x 456mm (H), weighs 5.3Kg, and supports Mini-ITX, Micro-ATX, plus ATX motherboards. It has enough space to fit up to 310mm length graphics cards, 157mm height CPU coolers, and 175mm PSUs.
This chassis comes bundled with four 120mm addressable RGB fans compatible with all the usual motherboard vendors; MSI Mystic Light, Asus Aura, etc. Three are pre-installed in the front, plus one in the rear, and if you feel the need, an additional two 120mm or 140mm fans can be installed up top.
Sharkoon didn’t give any information about liquid cooling support. However, from what we see the TK5M RGB may be able to handle 240mm radiators, but not 360mm as the PSU compartment limits space.
Users holding a lot of data should be OK with what’s on offer here, namely two 3.5in drive bays plus three 2.5in, enough for most builds at this end of the market.
Perhaps most surprising given the €69 MSRP is that Sharkoon doesn’t skimp on I/O. Lining the top-front edge are two USB 3.0 Type-A, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, plus two 3.5mm audio jacks alongside the customary power and reset buttons.
Mesh frontage and what appears to be an easily removable filter bodes well for both airflow and dust prevention, and though we don’t expect miracles at this price point, the specification holds promise for mainstream builds. It’s not every day you see tempered glass, four RGB fans and USB-C in the budget segment. Here’s hoping that price holds true when the case filters through to retail.
