Corsair has launched iCUE Murals Lighting, an upgrade tool for its RGB customisation software which promises next-level, state-of-the-art lighting controls. A perfect excuse to shower your bedroom with romantic-themed hues ahead of Valentine’s Day.
What’s new? Well, thanks to partnerships with Nanoleaf and Philips Hue, Murals Lighting grants users the ability to extend RGB lighting beyond your desktop. Meaning, besides syncing your regular old desktop, mouse and keyboard setup, you can now control wall panels, smart light bulbs, and everything in-between, all inside iCUE software.
Corsair claims Murals is both interactive and intuitive to use. Think of Murals as a canvas that allows users to create custom RGB lighting effects by uploading images, GIFs, and videos. After that, all you need to do is place compatible RGB devices over that on-screen canvas and watch the setup come to life. Don’t believe me, check out the video below.
Easy peazy, lemon squeezy. Corsair says Murals supports nearly every static or moving image file format. Alternatively, you could just match on-screen gaming antics or media in real time, for a fully-immersive experience, without having to slap a screen on your face.
“We’re thrilled to introduce iCUE Murals, a revolutionary leap in full-system interactive lighting control and personalisation,” said Thi La, President and COO of Corsair. Further adding “We can’t wait to see what both newcomers and experienced users can do with Murals to create their unique light scape.”
Ultimately, the only limit is your mind, at least when it comes to RGB lighting software. If interested, be sure to download the latest version of iCUE with Murals Lighting, here.
