Nvidia GeForce 546.17 driver fixes Windows 10 transparency bug

Laptops are getting some love.

Nvidia has published GeForce Game Ready 546.17 drivers bringing a heap of bug fixes alongside game optimisations for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III. The driver irons out many stability and performance-related issues, as well.

This update adds DLSS 3 support for new games such as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and Starfield. It also fixes a wide range of bugs, namely stability and performance degradation in Alan Wake 2, Control and stuttering in Starfield, plus Cyberpunk 2077 on some Optimus notebooks.

Gaming aside, the driver resolves a problem with high-resolution video recording in OBS, a Windows 10 transparency issue, and improves Nvidia’s Reflex functionality in Counter-Strike 2. Meanwhile, you may experience darker or washed-out colours when streaming games through Discord.

Interestingly, there is still no word regarding the system slowdowns faced by some users, which happen after running the machine for some duration.

Version 546.17 can be downloaded (669.26MB) from Nvidia’s website here, or directly from your GeForce Experience app. If you are unfamiliar with driver updates, check out our guide.
