Intel will be making a big splash at the annual CES 2024. Like AMD and Nvidia, Team Blue’s primary focus at this year’s event will undoubtedly be AI. Join Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger and other company executives as they present keynotes, events, and sessions highlighting Intel’s plan to bring AI to everyone, everywhere.

How to watch

Intel’s CES keynote is scheduled for January 9 at 15:00 PST / 18:00 EST / 23:00 GMT. Artificial Intelligence appears to be the main topic of interest at this event. Gelsinger reminds us at the centre of this transition is silicon and software.

As such, the CEO will showcase how these chips use the “support of innovative and open software” to enable AI capabilities for consumers and businesses alike. Meanwhile, Intel executives Michelle Johnston Holthaus and Jim Johnson, will host a ‘Open House’ pre-event livestream focussing on the latest Intel Core Ultra series of mobile CPUs.

Nevertheless, you can tune in over on the Intel website, and even add these events to your calendar as a reminder. Alternatively, you can catch it all on Twitch and YouTube, with VODs to follow once the presentation’s done.

What was last year?

Last year at CES 2023 was pretty huge for Intel. Highlights include the introduction of 13th Gen Intel Core mobile processor family. This was headed by the flagship Intel Core i9-13980HX processor, the world’s first 24-core processor for a laptop.

In terms of hardware, it seems that this year will follow suit. We’ve also received image leaks of an alleged Intel Core i9-14900KS, a powerful chip to mark the end of the current Intel socket. It is rumoured to make its debut at the event. We await with bated breath.
