Xbox has released the list of titles coming this month to PC and Console Game Pass. At least seven are planned, including one I’m eager to try called Palworld, which is a sort of open-world Pokemon game but with guns.
This month, PC and Xbox players will get to enjoy:
- Turnip Boy Robs a Bank (Cloud, Console, and PC) – January 18
- F1 23 (Console and PC) EA Play – January 18
- Palworld (Cloud, Console, PC) – January 19
- Go Mecha Ball (Cloud, Console, and PC) – January 25
- Brotato (Cloud, Console, and PC) – January 30
- Persona 3 Reload (Cloud, Console, and PC) – February 2
- Anuchard (Cloud, Console, and PC) – February 6
You’ll also be able to grab Alan Wake in Dead by Daylight at 10% discount.
Additionally, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members will get:
- Naraka: Bladepoint Season 11 Bundle which includes rare cosmetics and skins.
- Turbo Golf Racing Pet Pack.
As usual, a couple of games are leaving the service, namely:
- Hitman: World of Assassination (Cloud, Console, and PC) – January 31
- F1 2021 (Cloud and Console) EA Play – January 31
From the remake of Persona 3 to the chaotic Brotato, each game on this list has something for it. However, the one that interests me the most is definitely Palworld. This game is a mix of Ark: Survival Evolved and Pokemon. You’ll need to capture a variety of Pals as each has its own traits and abilities. Some are mules good for transporting goods, some can breathe fire to help cook meals, while some are good for fighting.
Palworld will be playable solo, co-op with up to three friends, or in servers alongside 31 other players. To begin with, the game will have PVE, with PVP coming later down the line. There’s something particularly macabre seeing the critters wielding firearms, but I can’t wait to ride a giant Pikachu with a Gatling gun.
Lastly, Frostpunk 2 is coming day one to Game Pass, although we don’t yet know the release date. I’m so hyped by this game, I can’t contain myself. I really, really, hope this one is going to be as good as the first. What’s sure is that my colony will once more suffer due to my poor choices if the difficulty is as high as the previous game.
