After the wave of Super cards adjusted Nvidia MSRPs across the globe, prices sort of stagnated. Fortunately, there are a few deals creeping around if you know where to look. Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070, for example, has fallen to a new low over in Britain.

Saving 10%, the white MSI Gaming GeForce RTX 4070 Ventus 2X now costs £450 on OverclockersUK. This isn’t a far cry from its £458.10 Amazon listing, but we’ve never actually seen it this cheap before. Fortunately, folks across the pond aren’t without, as the same graphics card in black and grey sees 10% off at $359.99.

Housing 12GB of high-speed GDDR6X memory, the GPU runs at 2,520MHz while the VRAM clocks in at 2,655MHz. This is a fair bit higher than Nvidia’s respective base 1,920MHz and 2,475MHz, translating to higher frame rates in games.

RTX 4070 discounts aren’t just the result of Nvidia adjusting to accommodate its new best graphics cards. It’s a direct response to AMD slashing the prices of Radeon RX 7900 XT. Sure, the latter is more powerful for the price, but it doesn’t have Team Green’s secret weapon.

With Nvidia DLSS under its belt, RTX 4070 gives a performance boost of up to 55% in supported games, including Cyberpunk 2077. This makes ray tracing a viable option without the same caveats you’d get buying a non-RTX 40 Series GPU. FSR 2 and FSR 3 are more prominent, but 4070 has access to those upscalers, too.

I’d recommend grabbing one sooner rather than later, as these will surely fly off the digital shelves. In the meantime, keep checking back on our deals page, follow us on Twitter and Facebook, or subscribe to our free newsletter for more hardware discount highlights.
