It’s tough to stand out in the midrange monitor market, but after a few weeks with MSI MAG 274QRF QD E2, Sam was quick to give it full marks. Boasting five stars and Club386’s Editor’s Choice award, there’s a lot to love about the screen, and it only gets better when you see the price plummet to its lowest yet.

We have little trouble recommending it at MSRP, but there are some fantastic discounts dotted around. With 43% off, you can get your hands on the 27in display for £199 on Amazon UK, making it the cheapest it’s ever been. It’s a similar story on the continent, where a 20% discount chops the price down to €199.99 in Europe. Simply click on the button below to find out if there are any deals in your region.

MSI MAG 274QRF QD E2

A shining example of an IPS gaming monitor with value that just keeps on giving. Read our review.

You’re best browsing our full MSI MAG 274QRF QD E2 review to see why we love this monitor so much, but the broad strokes are that it’s simply fantastic value. Its performance contends with models that are double or even triple the price, impressing us at every angle.

Its Quantum Dot-infused Rapid IPS panel has such good colour accuracy and 100% DCI-P3 coverage that it puts OLEDs to shame without the same risk of burn-in. As a result, it also doesn’t suffer the same brightness issues, being one of the more vibrant panels to pass through Club386 halls at 478nt.

Combine this with a 1ms response time, 180Hz refresh rate, and 1440p resolution, and you have one of the best gaming monitors on your hands for a fraction of what you’d normally pay. You’ll need to enable adaptive sync manually to avoid screen tearing, but once it’s in action, you’ll get buttery smooth visuals that don’t miss a beat.

For such eye candy, it’s surprisingly slight, with a respectably small stand and light 32W power consumption. This remains consistent even when swapping colour profiles but will fluctuate a bit if you use the 65W USB-C with DP Alt.

Since these are limited-time deals, you’ll need to be quick in order to benefit. Don’t worry too much about making the wrong decision, as Amazon gives you a return window that lasts until January 31, 2025, far exceeding its usual 30 days. That’s plenty of time to form your own opinion.
