Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is almost here, promising to deliver an interactive romp worthy of the iconic series. However, it also plans to make full use out of all the features modern graphics cards offer, including frame generation, image upscaling, and ray tracing. As such, it seems only fitting that Microsoft and Nvidia team up and bundle the game with team green’s powerful pixel pushers.
From now until December 29, 2024, every GeForce RTX 40 series GPU both desktop and laptop bar a select few comes with a free copy of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. The only graphics cards not privy to this party are the GeForce RTX 4060 and 4060 Ti (8GB and 16GB). This isn’t a huge loss considering the lacklustre calibre of both models. The only other caveat to keep in mind is that you’ll need to purchase from a qualifying retailer.
Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Super
“A solid QHD graphics card that ticks the relevant boxes without putting a foot wrong”. Read our review.
While developer Machine Games is yet to share recommended system requirements or performance estimates for the game, I’d be surprised if Indy’s latest interactive adventure proved too much for GeForce RTX 4070 Super and its vanilla counterpart. Good thing to, considering these are the cheapest options you have to access the bundle. That said, the former is my preferred choice of the two if there’s a small amount of flex in your budget.
Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090
“Ferociously quick, GeForce RTX 4090 is the only choice for ultra-high-end gaming rigs”. Read our review.
Of course, the best performance in the game will come from GeForce RTX 4090. With that legendary treasure in your system, you should have no trouble cranking up the game’s graphics. That’s not forgetting the leg up that the full DLSS 3 suite will offer it and its less-powerful brethren, with Nvidia DLSS and Frame Generation pushing performance further. These features will prove all the more useful using the game’s path tracing options, delivering a full ray traced experience only available in games like Cyberpunk 2077 and Alan Wake 2.
While I’d outrun a boulder for Nvidia’s flagship by itself, it’s worth remembering that desktop and laptop systems boasting it and its brethren are also eligible. The official promotional page contains the full list of qualifying retailers for your region, as confirmed by Nvidia.
