Instead of debuting flashy new PSUs at CES 2025, be quiet! has announced that its existing Dark Power, Straight Power, and Pure Power PSU series are ready for next-gen graphics cards. With capacities ranging from 550W up to 1,600W and offering both 16-pin and 8-pin connectors, they’re all ready for Nvidia RTX 5090, AMD Radeon RX 9070XT, and Intel Arc B580 graphics cards.
Dark Power 13 and Dark Power Pro 13
Covering the high-end, Dark Power 13 and Dark Power Pro 13 take a no-compromise approach with up to 95.8% 80 Plus Titanium efficiency, silent operation, and individually sleeved cables. The non-Pro series is available in 750W, 850W, and 1,000W, while the Pro pushes things up a notch with 1,300W and a whopping 1,600W capacity. You can grab a Dark Power 13/Pro 13 between £165 and £325 depending on the capacity.
All models feature an active rectifier plus full bridge LLC to maintain signal stability and efficiency. They are also backed by a ten-year warranty.
Straight Power 12
Moving a step down we find the Straight Power 12 range, offering 1,500W, 1,200W, 1,000W, 850W, and 750W capacities. For these, be quiet! claims up to 94% 80 Plus Platinum efficiency, again with support for ATX 3.0 specifications. All models feature 105° Japanese capacitors for higher reliability alongside a single large 12V rail to simplify the user experience. Regardless of which one you choose the 135mm Silent Wings fan remains virtually inaudible with a claimed 12.7dBA of noise at 50% load, even on the 1,500W model.
Straight Power 12 series is available anywhere between £133 and £204, backed by a ten-year warranty.
Pure Power 12 and Pure Power 12 M
Pure Power 12 M series has a modular design using two 12V rails to spread the load, available in 1,200W, 1,000W, 850W, 750W, 650W, and 550W. Pure Power 12 on the other hand is single-rail non-modular but features the updated 12V-2×6 connector, available in 1,000W, 850W, 750W, 650W, and 550W variants.
Depending on capacity, the non-modular Pure Power 12 can be found between £76 and £132, with the modular M series ranging from £100 to £143. Once more all versions are backed by the brand’s 10-year warranty.
