Colorful brings laptop hardware efficiency to your desktop

Colorful has launched a new AIO gaming PC featuring AMD’s 6000 series CPU and GPU. Packing Team Red components exclusively, the G-One Plus targets 4K gaming in a small footprint.

The G-One Plus is an all-in-one gaming desktop PC housing AMD’s Ryzen 9 6900HX and Radeon RX 6850M XT. As a reminder, this is the same GPU inside the Alienware m17 R5 and Asus’ ROG XG Mobile external GPU. It also packs a 27in 4K 3840×2160 screen, two 5W stereo speakers, plus a 2MP camera inside its 614mm x 499mm x 248mm frame.

This is not the first time we have seen the G-One Plus. The previous model came paired with an Nvidia RTX 3060 mobile graphic solution. Of course, the new version is a little better, equipped with a much more powerful RX 6850M XT 12GB. Comparatively, this Radeon chip can trade blows with the RTX 3080 Mobile, only losing out in RT performance.

You can expect around 60fps in The Witcher 3 at 4K Ultra, Resident Evil 3 at 4K High, and Battlefield V at 4K Max settings. Just don’t try 4K Ultra settings in Cyberpunk 2077 with RT on.

Since the CPU and GPU aren’t constrained to a laptop body, the cooling solution is a bit larger. This potentially means higher sustained clocks and power draws, whatever they may be. Colorful didn’t specify any figures for the CPU aside from a 4.9GHz maximum frequency. On the GPU side however, Colorful offers four different power settings: Quiet at 114W, Balance at 135W, Gaming at 154W, and Beast at 165W. Lastly, the brand bundles the AIO with 16GB, 32GB, or 64GB of RAM, and either 1TB or 2TB of storage.

Pricing-wise, you can find the G-One Plus on JD.com at:

  • ¥5,899 (£656) for 16GB of DDR5 plus 1TB SSD.
  • ¥5,999 (£667) for 32GB of DDR5 plus 1TB SSD.
