Well-priced SSDs have been dominating our daily deal digests these past few weeks, and the good run continues. The pick of the bunch today is a 1TB WD_Black SN770, available for £69.98 at the time of writing.

Cast your memory back to February 2022 and you might recall the Club386 review found the SN770 to be a potent PCIe 4.0 performer, bringing speeds of over 5,000MB/s to a wider audience. The caveat? Inflated launch pricing, with the 1TB model arriving on the market alongside a £143 MSRP.

Fast forward 12 months and said drive is now effectively half price, making it an excellent drop-in upgrade for any PC with an available M.2 slot. Pricing is even more favourable across the pond, with Amazon US listing the same SSD for a mere $65.

Do note the SN770 isn’t ideal for PlayStation 5 – the official specs fall just shy of Sony’s recommended 5,500MB/s – but it remains a cracking drive at the current price.
