Deal of the day: Geekom Mini PCs have a tiny price tag

It's not the size but how you use it.

Geekom Mini PC, mini prices.

Over the past year, I’ve gravitated away from hulking machines in favour of something a bit more understated. Maybe it’s just simple fascination over the fact that you can cram so much into a small form factor (SFF) system. Perhaps I just want my rig to respect my space a bit more. Regardless of the reason, there’s never been a better time to grab a Geekom Mini PC.

There are several limited-time deals across multiple countries, but one of the best is on Amazon US. Don’t let the i9-12900H version fool you with 21% off, as its successor offers more for less. Geekom’s Mini IT13, sporting a ten-core Intel i7-13620H under the hood, fell below $500 for the first time with a 10% discount.

Back in Blighty, Geekhom slashes 16% off its IT12 with a ten-core i7-12650H, offering the dinky device for £462.39. This is the first reduction it’s ever seen, putting it at the cheapest price ever.

No matter which model you go for, each has 32GB of DDR4 RAM and a 1TB Gen 4 NVMe SSD. Microsoft’s Windows 11 comes pre-installed but you can easily swap that out for your preferred operating system.

I couldn’t resist getting an i5-12450H model earlier this year to act as a server. It features the same chassis as all the deals I’ve listed here, complete with a fetching blue finish and all the same ports. This includes supporting DisplayPort 1.4 with up to 8K/30Hz via the rear two USB4 ports, while two HDMI 2.0 slots run up to 4K/50Hz.

There’s no shortage of connectivity, either. On top of the two USB-Cs mentioned above, there are four USB Type-As, a 2.5G Ethernet, and a spare M.2 2242 slot for an extra SSD.

And hey, if you’re not into minimalism, you can always send it back. All of these deals being on Amazon means you have a 30-day return window to get your money back. There are no strings, so you get to test it for yourself risk-free.

As always, we’ll keep our eyes peeled for more deals. Should you fancy nudge you when we find some, follow us on X or Facebook. Subscribe to our free weekly newsletter, and we’ll even send some straight to you.
