Isn’t it awful missing out on a great deal, especially one you’d been waiting for? Well, we’ve good news for folk who were hoping to bag an 8TB Samsung SSD at a bargain price; the deal is back!

A week prior to Black Friday official, there’s a massive 38% saving on the drive at Amazon. That brings the 8TB Samsung 870 QVO price tag right down to £256.49, which is the lowest we’ve ever seen.

The same model still fetches $339 in the US, so we await to see whether or not the offer is rolled out to other regions, but for UK shoppers our advice is simple; jump in while the going’s good as SSD prices are expected to creep back up throughout 2024.

To recap, Samsung’s 2.5in SATA 6Gbps drive is a spacious upgrade for PC or laptop users and delivers the instant response of solid-state technology alongside sequential read and write speeds of 560MB/s and 530MB/s, respectively. The manufacturer backs the drive with a three-year warranty, and at these prices, I’m pretty sure many of you will be thinking what I am: NAS upgrade!

We’ll be keeping a close eye on PC component deals in what’s sure to be a frantic week. We’ll do our best to identify the genuine bargains, and you can follow on Twitter or Facebook to stay up to date, or make it even easier by subscribing to our joyous weekly newsletter.
