Endorfy launches a more affordable version of its Arx 500 PC case

It brings some savings to those who don't need or want ARGB fans.

Endorfy has expanded its range of PC cases, launching its new budget-focussed Arx 500 Core. Based on Arx 500 ARGB, the latest chassis ditches the bling and embraces stealth without limiting its upgrade potential.

Arx 500 Core is a mid-tower case measuring 486mm (H) × 228mm (W) × 429mm (L). It follows the same design principles as its siblings, mainly differing in the amount and type of fan shipped inside. While Arx 500 Air comes with five plain Stratus 140mm fans and Arx 500 ARGB bundles four colourful models, Arx 500 Core cuts that down to two 140mm blowers without any lighting. The aim is to further reduce cost and offer a more affordable option.

Fan configuration aside, you will find all the aspects that make the Arx 500 Series. You get support for ATX motherboards and six 2.5in drive locations – one of which can handle 3.5in HDDs. You also have room for up to 350mm graphics cards, 179mm CPU coolers, and 300mm PSUs. Aside from the hidden power supply tucked away in its dedicated compartment, you can admire all your hard-earned hardware from the large side glass panel.

Up to seven fans handle cooling, leaving room for five more on top its bundled duo. Additionally, you’ll find a five-port fan hub behind the motherboard tray, handy for managing everything from one location. Those who prefer liquid cooling will find space for up to 360mm radiators in the front, 140mm in the rear, and 280mm up top. Note that the front, top, and bottom are all filtered, giving you the freedom to select the best air circulation pattern for your hardware while keeping dust out.

Lastly, on the connectivity side, you get two USB Type-A, one USB Type-C, and two 3.5mm audio jacks. So, nothing unusual.

Endorfy has yet to share pricing, but based on Air’s £80.44 tag, we expect the new Core to retail around £70 or less, backed by a three-year warranty. A nice discount that will allow it to fight against established solutions from brands such as Corsair and NZXT.
