Nvidia is offering four free games with qualifying purchases of a high-end desktop GPU or GeForce-powered laptop
With graphics cards finally in stock and with prices closer to or lower than MSRP, there’s word of surplus stock and manufacturers are eager to lighten the load ahead of next-gen arrivals.
Consumers buying GeForce RTX 3090 Ti, RTX 3090, RTX 3080 Ti, and RTX 3080 in either desktop or laptop form will be entitled to a Bethesda ‘Face Your Demons’ bundle that includes Ghostwire: Tokyo, Doom Eternal, Doom Eternal: The Ancient Gods – Part One, and Doom Eternal: The Ancient Gods – Part Two. Okay, that’s technically two games and two expansion packs, but we aren’t going to quibble with freebies.
This offer is available worldwide, excluding Russia and China (or where prohibited by law), for purchases made between July 12 and August 1, 2022. The redemption period lasts for an extra month until September 1, 2022, and the provided game keys are redeemable via Steam.
Doom Eternal is a first-person shooter (FPS) released on March 20, 2020, where you play as the Doom Slayer fighting demons trying to exterminate humanity. To do your job you will have a wide arsenal of guns to eliminate all threats you may encounter in the goriest way possible.
Ghostwire: Tokyo is also an FPS, released on March 25, 2022, where you use various psychic and paranormal abilities to defeat the ghosts and spirits haunting Tokyo, in what’s described as “karate meets magic” by combat director Shinichiro Hara.
Nvidia says that this bundle is worth $129.97, at full price yes, but on sale, it’s more like $58. But we aren’t going to quibble when it comes to freebies, right?
Bundled games are always welcome, yet gamers eager to get hold of cut-price GPUs should keep an eye on out for upcoming sales. Asus tells us prices on select TUF and Strix models will be cut in the very near future – possibly as soon as today – and others may follow.
In any case, if the games tickle your fancy, don’t forget to check retailer eligibility before clicking on buy.
