Gigabyte releases a case with panoramic view and reversed fans

This is how you build a panoramic chassis.

Gigabyte has launched the C500 Panoramic Stealth computer case, which features a 270° field of view over your hardware. It uses two glass side panels that blend seamlessly in the front left corner.

Gigabyte C500 Panoramic Stealth is an ATX chassis boasting the fish tank design that’s all the rage lately. It supports both regular and back-side connector motherboards, known as BTF or Project Zero boards, ranging from Mini-ITX to ATX sizes. All potential intakes are covered with easily removable dust filters, keeping your rig clean and simple to maintain. The toolless side panels further simplify this.

C500 Panoramic Stealth measures 501mm (H) x 235mm (W) x 430mm (D) and will be available in black or white. On the top, we find two USB 3.0, one USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C, and one audio jack for your I/O needs. We also find a five-port RGB/fan hub for cooling and lighting.

The C500 Panoramic Stealth has room for up to 410mm long graphics cards, 176mm height CPU coolers, and 200mm PSU. You can mount the GPU horizontally and vertically, allowing you to show your card in its best light. This is particularly handy if you have one with a fancy back plate, like the Sapphire’s Frostpunk RX 7700 XT. Moreover, the vertical orientation allows you to install even the largest cards available with room for up to 5-slot models.

For cooling, C500 Panoramic Stealth has space for three 120mm fans on the side, three 120mm at the bottom, three 120mm or two 140mm up top, and a single 120mm/140mm on the rear. The top, side, and rear can be used for liquid coolers’ radiators if needed. The chassis comes equipped with four 120mm ARGB fans in the side and rear – the former being of the reversed kind to keep the chassis aesthetic, adding to its value.

Gigabyte has yet to disclose pricing; however, given the feature set, we would assume pricing around the £120 mark.
