Designed with AI acceleration, thermal management, memory optimisation, and DIY-friendly features in mind, Gigabyte X870 and X870E motherboards may be the solution to maximise the capabilities of your latest Ryzen 9000 processor.

According to the brand, its AI engine should unleash the ultimate performance of your system with one simple click. The brand claims optimisations will boost memory, multitasking, and overall system performance and responsiveness. Moreover, you can overclock your machine without reaching dangerous territories, all while retaining optimal power efficiency. For example, the Active OC Tuner can automatically switch between AMD’s PBO and Manual OC to unleash the utmost performance possible. A win-win situation.

To ensure the hardware isn’t bottlenecking these features, Gigabyte uses up to 20 110A SPS power phases alongside an eight-layer PCB to improve signal integrity and thus permit DDR5-8600 support. VRM and M.2 cooling solutions also keep your hardware running cool.

Simplifying performance increases to a single click is certainly a fantastic use of AI, even if I’m a little fatigued seeing the buzzword at this point. Just how much more you can eke out of your processor will depend on the CPU and on how effective these AI engines are, but I’ll take it all with a pinch of salt until I see some cold, hard figures.
