It’s hard to deny that a complimentary game makes your graphics card upgrade that little bit sweeter. So, how about two games? Ponder no more as AMD reveals its new Radeon graphics card offer, complete with two free games. While there are only two models eligible for the promotion, there are actually four games to choose from.

The choice before you is between Radeon RX 7800 XT and 7700 XT. The former, though, ranks among the best graphics cards in our eyes. With your mind made up on which to take home to your system, AMD provides a varied game selection. Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Starfield, Lies of P, and Company Heroes are all up for grabs. Remember, though, you’ll only be able to pick two.

AMD’s Why We Game Promotion

“Choose two games from a selection of four with every purchase of Radeon RX 7800 XT and 7700 XT graphics cards at participating retailers. Storefront support varies depending on the region.”

We earn a commission if you make a purchase, at no additional cost to you.

We recommend reading our Radeon RX 7800 XT review for an in-depth look at the GPU. The TL;DR is this is one perky pixel pusher that’s perfect for QHD gamers. Its 16GB of VRAM leaves it well-prepared for the textures of today and years to come. It’s even capable of ray tracing, but its rasterisation performance is much higher.

The relative value of Radeon RX 7800 XT is much higher of the two, but Radeon RX 7700 XT remains a decent purchase for budget buyers. Just keep in mind that its performance weaker and it only has 12GB of VRAM at its disposal. If you can stretch your purchasing power to the former, it’s well worth doing so.

In terms of which games to choose, only you can answer that. Personally, I’d opt for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and Lies of P. The former will really stretch the legs of your graphics card, serving as a stunning visual showcase. The latter is just because I’m something of a fiend for Soulsborne games. However, if you’re after another visual benchmark of sorts, go with Starfield.
