ID-Cooling announces IS-47S low-profile CPU air cooler

Now give me the same in white.

ID-Cooling has expanded its IS Series portfolio with yet another low-profile air cooler peaking at 47mm height – including the fan.

Dubbed IS-47S and measuring 100mm (L) × 93mm (W) × 47mm (H), this compact cooler weighs 450g and can handle up to 95W TDP CPUs thanks to its four 6mm heat pipes which transfer heat from the copper base to an aluminium fin stack.

A 92mm PWM fan blows heat away at a maximum speed of 3,600RPM, translating to 40CFM of air flow and 2.28mm H2O of static pressure. All that at a reasonable 17 to 35.8dB(A) noise level helped by a ball bearing design. Power consumption is a negligible 3.36W at 12V DC.

Compatibility is wide, covering Intel LGA 1700/1200/1151/1150/1155/1156 and AMD AM4 sockets. Memory clearance is a non-issue, taking away some of the headache that comes with a mini-ITX build.

ID-Cooling’s 47mm height is perfect for small form factor (SFF) or HTPC and the all-black coating looks very neat and tidy. Better yet, a tube of Frost X25 thermal paste with a thermal conductivity of 10.5W/m-K is included in the box.

The IS-47S will retail at $34.99 / €34.99, with availability penned for late April 2022.
