Earlier this month, we found seemingly suggestive evidence on Newegg that AMD might start bundling Starfield with its latest Ryzen 7000 Series CPUs. Well, today it’s official!
According to AMD Taiwan (via Hardware and Co.) the exclusive bundle campaign will kick off on July 11 until September 30. That’s not all, bundle eligibility not only includes AMD Ryzen 7000 Series CPUs but also Radeon GPUs across the RDNA 2 and RDNA 3 families. Ain’t that swell.
On the GPU end, eligible purchases start with Radeon RX 6600 Series GPUs all the way up to the almighty AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX. While on the CPU side, prospective buyers of any Ryzen 7000 Series CPU will net a free copy of the game.
Further incentivising the deal, an infographic reveals AMD Taiwan has split the bundle into a two-tiered system that consists of a Premium Edition and a Standard Edition bundle – all dependant on how much you’re willing to fork out. Allow me to explain.
The Standard Edition will arrive bundled with any AMD Ryzen 5 and Ryzen 7 7000 Series processors, as well as AMD Radeon RX 6600 Series and RX 7600 Series graphics cards. Meanwhile, the Premium Edition is reserved for the crème da la crème of AMD’s product lineup. These include all AMD Ryzen 9 7000 Series CPUs, Radeon RX 7900 Series GPUs, as well as any Radeon RX 6700 Series GPUs and above. Whew.
In case you were wondering, the Starfield Premium Edition bundle will get you up to five days early access, an exclusive Shattered Space expansion upon release, a Constellation cosmetic skins pack, and access to the Starfield digital artbook and OST.
Sounds like a rather great deal to me, that is, if you’re considering making the move to Team Red’s platform. Starfield arrives September 6 exclusive to Xbox Series S|X consoles and PC. See you there.
