Lenovo hints that Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 Series launch is imminent via prebuild specs sheets

In lieu of word from Nvidia on GeForce RTX 5060 Series, system integrators including Lenovo indicate the graphics cards could be with us soon.

Nvidia is yet to acknowledge the existence of GeForce RTX 5060 Series graphics cards, let alone announce when they’ll hit store shelves. Despite Team Green keeping its plans close to its chest, the launch of budget Blackwell is something of an open secret at this point. If it wasn’t already obvious enough, Lenovo has just revealed new desktops containing references to the models in question.

Heading over to the Lenovo Legion Tower 5i Gen 10 product page, nothing appears out of the ordinary until you glance at its tech specs table. In the ‘Graphics’ row, the brand lists GeForce RTX 5070 Ti alongside both GeForce RTX 5060 Ti and GeForce RTX 5060. Strangely, GeForce RTX 5070 is absent from the listing.

Given that this desktop system will launch soon, prior rumours pinning the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti release date later this month seem more likely to hold up. It’s unclear whether Nvidia has been able to move up GeForce RTX 5060 after whispers of delays to May but it’s entirely possible the graphics card could be available by the end of the month, mirroring prior separations between models of two weeks.

Lenovo’s listing sadly doesn’t reveal any specifications for GeForce RTX 5060 Series cards, but previous leaks may have revealed all anyway. While the cards will expectedly be less powerful than GeForce RTX 5070, it seems that Nvidia plans to offer at least one of them in 8GB and 16GB variants mirroring GeForce RTX 4060 Ti.

Regardless of rumours, I expect Nvidia will offer an official line on all things GeForce RTX 5060 Series soon. Whether the brand plays its hand before the arrival of Radeon RX 9060 Series competitors (and possibly a surprise Radeon RX 9070 GRE) is anyone’s guess, but I look forward to seeing these budget graphics cards come to blows.
