Achieving a perfect score is no easy task. A piece of hardware truly needs to impress above all else on the market, with few to no faults unless it’s inherent of current technology. MSI MAG 274QRF QD E2 rose to the task with ease, proving you don’t need to go OLED with 5/5 and our Editor’s Choice award – and you can currently get the 27in gaming monitor at its best price ever.

The screen was already a steal with plenty of value packed into its price tag, but nothing beats a good discount. Leaning into Amazon’s Spring Deal Days, you can grab MSI’s finest IPS up to 21% cheaper at just £198.90 in the UK, $249.99 in the US, and €229 in parts of Europe. MSI MAG 274QRF QD E2

A shining example of an IPS gaming monitor with value that just keeps on giving. Read our review.

MSI MAG 274QRF QD E2 is the best of both worlds, with an ample QHD resolution married to a high 180Hz refresh rate. Complete with AMD FreeSync to keep the silky smooth frame rates from tearing and a 1ms response time, it’s a gaming powerhouse that our very own Sam loved playing CS2 on.

DisplayHDR 400 is on-hand to emphasise blacks, but without dimming zones, it’s worth sticking to SDR, where the monitor truly shines. The impeccable colour accuracy of its IPS panel increases immersion, whether it’s highlighting the vibrant crimson red spatters in Doom Etneral or shrouding Left 4 Dead 2’s infected in darkness.

In fact, it tops the charts in DCI-P3 gamut coverage all while being one of the brightest screens we’ve tested at 478nits, which is no small feat. And in return, it barely sips power at a mere 32W draw. We love hardware that’s respectful of your electric bill.

As for the cherry on top of this delicious cake, MSI MAG 274QRF QD E2 houses a neat USB hub to route all your peripherals. Using a Type-B upstream and two USB Type-A 2.0 downstream ports, they’re limited in bandwidth meaning they’re not suited to webcams, but they’ll help with your mouse and keyboard without issue.

You’ll want to be quick if you’re in the market for a new monitor as Amazon’s Spring Sale lasts just one week, spanning March 25 through to March 31. Keep in mind that all products are subject to availability, too, so once they’re gone, you won’t see them at this price again for a good long while. We’ll keep an eye out for the best deals throughout and you can get notified by following Club386’s Google News page.

Don’t sweat the potential buyer’s remorse of acting quickly as the retailer gives you up to 30 days from purchase to change your mind (14 days in some European territories). Send it back in the first month, and you’re entitled to a full refund.
