As is natural to Samsung’s third-gen QD-OLED panels, it’s not the brightest screen out there but in return you get magnificently rich colours, near-infinite contrast ratios, and perfect blacks courtesy of self-emitting pixels that individually switch off. There isn’t another screen type out there that beats its 0.03ms GtG (grey-to-grey) response time, making it the perfect gaming companion with a competitive edge.

In my case, the extra vibrance of a QD-OLED made it feel like I was cheating in Rainbow Six Siege for a little while until I adjusted and I struggle to go back to an LCD with each review.
