MSI puts a massive display on its new flagship PC

Say hello to your new second screen.

We’ve seen screens on PC cases before, but none quite as large as the one MSI has fitted to its new MEG Vision X AI. It’s almost more accurate to describe this panas a second monitor, given its size and resolution. All being well, it may be time to swap out that portrait panel you use for Discord and almost nothing else if you fancy a system upgrade too.

MSI describes the 1080p touchscreen as an AI HMI (Artificial Intelligence Human Machine Interface). However, the company didn’t spill the beans on how this display interacts with AI applications past a general “enhanced AI functionality” mantra. Focussing on this niche does a disservice to MEG Vision X AI’s front panel, though, as it’s far more compelling as a massive monitor for you system’s clock speeds and temperatures via MSI AI Engine, as well as a secondary screen for applications like your web browser.

Naturally, the unique stylings of MEG Vision X AI set it up to be an expensive PC. MSI didn’t talk specifics on price, but this PC certainly won’t be cheap. As a member of the company’s MEG series, the PC naturally features high-end components. More specifically, it houses non-descript Project Zero components for an ultra-clean look to match its ultra-powerful parts.

Curiously, though, MSI didn’t disclose what processors and graphics cards it plans to house in MEG Vision X AI. This could be a sign that this PC’s destiny has next-generation components in store, which would make sense given their presumed imminent release. Saying that, there’s just as much chance that the company is still finalising its specs list. Even if this system only sports today’s latest and greatest parts, it’ll still amount to a large amount of performance inside this massive, showy case.
