New Enermax PC case takes cues from Fractal Design Torrent

Reminds of the Fractal Torrent.

Enermax has announced the Enerpazo EP237 PC case with an emphasis on airflow. Though targeting a lower price than its competitors, it has all the features you may need.

The Enerpazo EP237 will be available in black or white, plus a special white version for the European market. Enermax bundles the former two with a single 120mm ARGB fan, whereas the latter will feature four SquA RGB fans. All models measure 410mm (D) x 210mm (W) x 450mm (H) and weigh 6.13kg.

Behind the magnetically locked glass side panel, there’s space for ATX, Micro-ATX, or Mini-ITX boards. The accompanying cable ties on the motherboard tray even help keep things tidy. Enermax includes a removable dust filter on the top but doesn’t specify if the front and PSU have one.

Those long vertical intakes systematically remind me of Fractal Design Torrent. So, hopefully, the Enerpazo EP237 is also very good at keeping hardware cool. Considering its support for up to eight 120mm fans, components shouldn’t lack airflow. These are split into four positions: three in the front, one in the back, two on the PSU compartment, and two up top. The front and top also support dual 140mm fans each.

These go hand in hand with compatibility for up to 162mm high CPU cooler, or alternatively 360mm liquid cooler radiators. For graphics cards, we find room for up to 365mm which is enough for most models. Even an RTX 4090 should fit nicely with room to spare. While we are at it, the Enerpazo EP237 can also handle up to four 2.5in drives, two of which are compatible with 3.5in too.

For I/O we have seven PCI expansion slots – standard for ATX boards, plus two USB3.2 Gen 1 Type A, one USB2.0, and an Audio jack. I would have gladly traded one Type-A for a Type-C, but we can’t ask much more from a budget case.

In Europe, the Enerpazo EP237 is available in a special white edition bundled with four Enermax SquA RGB fans at £69.90 on Amazon. Availability elsewhere depends on your chosen storefront.
