Nvidia remains coy about GeForce RTX 5060 Ti, despite mounting rumours of an imminent announcement and launch. In spite of the brand’s hush-hush attitude, new leaks allegedly stemming from communications between the brand’s partners may pinpoint the starting price for both the 8GB and 16GB model.
According to these sources, Nvidia intends to release GeForce RTX 5060 Ti with a $379 MSRP. More specifically, this price will apply to the 8GB variant while the 16GB model will be available for $429. This marks a generational decrease in pricing, as GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 8GB and 16GB respectively hit the scene at $399 and $499 back in 2023.
It’s important to stress that Nvidia hasn’t confirmed these prices publicly, so take the above with a pinch of salt. That’s not forgetting the impact that tariffs could have on costs, as well as the fluidity of pricing more generally within the the GPU market due to stock availability. If prior GeForce RTX 50 Series launches are anything to go by, don’t expect a swathe of stock on shelves at MSRP come launch.
Should GeForce RTX 5060 Ti indeed cost $379-429 depending on memory capacity, spending the extra 50 bucks for 16GB seems like a no brainer. In 2025 there are already plenty of examples where 8GB of VRAM can create problems, with countless more likely to emerge in the near-future. While more expensive out the gate, it should dramatically improve the longevity of the graphics card.
For the moment, these prices would make GeForce RTX 5060 Ti the most affordable current generation graphics card outside of Intel Arc B580. Competition from AMD is coming in the form of Radeon RX 9060 Series, but there’s no word on when it’ll come to stake its claim outside of a broad ‘Q2 2025’ launch window.
Fingers crossed that rumours of an April 16 launch prove true so we don’t have to wait much longer to see how GeForce RTX 5060 Ti stacks up. Regardless of when it lands, though, you can expect the official Club386 verdict in due course.
