Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti should arrive just under a week after Valentine’s Day

GeForce RTX 5070 Ti won't interrupt any Valentine's Day plans as Nvidia reportedly eyes up a February 20 launch.

Both GeForce RTX 5070 Ti and 5070 are due to land on store shelves sometime in February with Nvidia holding out on a specific date in the meantime. Despite its attempts to keep launch plans a secret, rumours suggest the first 5070 Series card will land just under a week after Valentine’s Day.

According to Videocardz, Nvidia initially planned to push GeForce RTX 5070 Ti out the door come February 14. However, the company’s had a change of heart and pushed launch to February 20 instead due to Chinese New Year. The first reviews for the graphics card will arrive the day before release, February 19.

Nvidia RTX 5070 Ti performance.

It’s unclear what Nvidia’s plans are for GeForce RTX 5070 but I suspect the card will launch after its Ti sibling in the days following. In the meantime, both RTX 5090 and 5080 will be able to enjoy the spotlight uninterrupted for around three weeks. You might have some trouble getting your hands on either, though, as stock for RTX 50 Series is reportedly slim.

Given its $749 MSRP, demand for GeForce RTX 5070 Ti could be even higher owing to its relative affordability. In lieu of a Founders Edition, though, reference models at this price point could be nothing short of gold dust. Still, at least there’s RTX 5070 to look forward to rocking Nvidia’s brilliant new cooler.

GeForce RTX 5070 Ti promises around 20% higher performance than RTX 4070 Ti according to Nvidia, without employing any performance enhancements. Naturally, bringing DLSS 4 into the fold sees the gap between the two graphics cards widen significantly.

Of course, you can expect the Club386 verdict on GeForce RTX 5070 Ti around the time of launch. For now, stay tuned for the site’s thoughts on all things RTX 5080 as its release date draws closer.
