Nvidia has cut GeForce RTX 50 Series prices in Europe due to favourable exchange rates. This includes all Founders Edition cards sold in the brand’s official store. While it is unclear if Nvidia’s partners will follow suit, users willing to wait for these to become available should save some cash.
Nvidia GeForce RTX 50 Series Founders Edition cards are now available in Germany for the follow prices:
- RTX 5090: €2,229, down from €2,329 – i.e. a 4.3% discount.
- RTX 5080: €1,119, down from €1,169 – i.e. a 4.3% discount.
- RTX 5070: €619, down from €649 – i.e. a 4.6% discount.
The Euro has been increasing in value since February, notably climbing starkly since the beginning of March. Over the course of the past month, it’s up 4.47%, mostly mirroring the discounts described above.
While 4.3-4.6% sounds like a small reduction, it results in savings of €30-100. That’s enough of a saving to grab a brand-new game or some extra storage for your system. Really, though, with graphics card prices being what they are there’s little reason to complain about any cut to cost.

The reason for GeForce RTX 5070 Ti missing out on the streak of savings is likely due to Nvidia never releasing a a Founder Edition model. There’s still a chance that partners will reduce the base cost of the card in the future, but there’s no sign of that now. After all, finding the SKU at all is difficult amid stock shortages.
This is a welcome change for German consumers that should hopefully extend to other European regions. Here’s hoping partners react similarly and can afford to lower the prices of their custom models too.
