Nvidia has released a new GeForce Game Ready driver bringing the much-awaited DLSS override feature. More than 75 games and apps are getting the brand’s DLSS 4 with multi-frame generation.
With the release of GeForce Game Ready Driver 572.16, you will be able to swap your games’ DLL files for the latest DLSS versions directly from the Nvidia app. This is especially handy for games that are no longer supported by developers, or in cases where you want to swap upscaling for DLAA anti-aliasing. The latter is a great solution to achieve better image quality without the costs generally associated with it.
Game Ready 572.16 also debuts Nvidia Smooth Motion, a driver-based AI model that soothes gameplay by slotting an extra frame between two traditionally rendered frames on GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs. If this sounds like frame generation, well it is, just available on all games regardless of developer support.

But that’s not all. The driver also:
- Supports the newly released RTX 5090 and RTX 5080, assuming you managed to grab one.
- Fixes a bug causing flickering on G-Sync-compatible monitors when framerates drop below 60fps.
- Improves stability in some Ubisoft games.
- Solves micro-stutters when using V-Sync in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.
- Adds multiple display settings to RTX Video Super Resolution, plus other enhancements.
Lastly, this update also added G-Sync monitors’ support to devices from AOC, LG, MSI, and more – see the full list below.
