NZXT has unveiled a new 1,000W fully modular power supply featuring 80 Plus Gold efficiency and semi-passive cooling in an ATX format.
Dubbed C1000 Gold, it measures 150mm (W) x 150mm (D) x 86mm (H), which is quite compact for a PSU delivering such power. Its modularity makes for a perfect clean build using NZXT’s CRFT 10 H510i All Might.
Electrically, the C1000 Gold boasts a single +12V rail capable of pushing up to 1,002W (83.5A) total power. Enough to run even an RTX 3090 Ti plus Ryzen 7 5800X3D monster gaming rig. 90.5 per cent efficiency at 50 per cent load alongside a 0.96 power factor correction (PFC) reduces wasted energy.
As for connectors, we find all we could possibly need from a PSU of this calibre, starting with the bulky 24-pin, followed by two 4+4 pin EPS, six SATA and six Molex cables.
To keep everything cool, NZXT uses a 135mm fluid-dynamic bearing fan capable of stopping under low-intensity workloads. At max speed, this fan can rotate at 2,300RPM providing 93.02CFM of airflow at 44.5dBA.
The C1000 Gold is priced at €154.99 and comes covered by a 10-year warranty as standard.
