It’s difficult to find a great gaming keyboard at an affordable price, wireless ones even more so. With this in mind, it’s a pleasant surprise to see Logitech’s G915 TKL available with a deep discount. Whether you’ve long ruminated on plans to cut the cord or have only just begun to consider a wireless setup, it’s easily worth picking up at its current price.

Over on Amazon UK, the cost of G915 TKL is down 50% from its RRP of £219.99 to just £109.00. Technically, that’s a little over half price, if only by a couple of quid. Just make sure to select the black colourway, as white is sadly still much more expensive. Meanwhile, US shoppers have a still reasonably chunky 35% discount to digest. If you pick the white model, you’ll only pay $149.99 for the keyboard, while the black version runs for $151.99.

There’s plenty about G915 TKL that makes it a desirable keyboard, particularly for gaming. For instance, its low-profile GL Tactile switches actuate at 1.5mm with 50g of force, with a total travel distance of 2.7mm. Such qualities give each keystroke an immediate feel that’s perfect for competitive gaming, providing you’re as careful as you are quick with your presses.

Speaking from experience, Logitech’s Lightspeed wireless technology is practically perfect. I’d expect as much from G915 TKL, but it supports wired connectivity via its USB port, too. To sweeten the deal for cordless gameplay, though, the keyboard sports up to 40 hours of battery life with RGB set to 100% brightness. Lower settings will naturally help stave off the need to charge, giving you a welcome route to prolong uptime should you need to.

While G915 TKL doesn’t come with a travel case, I’d happily purchase this as an on-the-go keyboard. It’s light at 810g, 22mm thin, doesn’t take up much room thanks to its form factor, and comes with a convenient place to store its USB dongle. That last feature alone is something even more expensive boards fail to include, and it’s great to see it here.

If you already own Logitech G peripherals, be it a mouse or headset, then G915 TKL will slip all the nicer into your setup. It uses the same G Hub software to customise its lighting and profiles. For esports enthusiasts, ‘Game Mode’ even allows you to toggle certain keys off when activated to mitigate unwanted key presses.

As an Amazon deal, G915 TKL is eligible for Prime Delivery, so you can get to clacking its keys all the sooner. For those unsure about what the service offers, we’ve got everything you need to know about what you get with an Amazon Prime subscription. Don’t forget, new customers can sign up for a 30-day free trial, so you can try it out for yourself with at no charge.
