Don’t confuse this with the full-sized 2280 model of the same name, which also has its lowest-ever reduction. 1TB sits at $71.99 in the US, while parts of Europe can get the beefier 2TB version up to 34% cheaper at €140. Despite their difference in length, specs for both sizes are identical. To give you an idea of real-world performance, I put game loading times to the test in my review. Cyberpunk 2077 goes from boot to gameplay in under 40 seconds, while it’ll take you less than ten seconds to get into the action in The Witcher 3. Not bad at all considering there’s no onboard DRAM to speed things up.
